Marathon Participants

Balko School showed up in force at the 2025 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, with students, staff, and community members participating across multiple race categories. From the kids marathon to the quarter and half marathons, the spirit of perseverance and pride was on full display.

Several Balko students participated in the Kids Marathon, an event designed to promote physical fitness and goal-setting among youth. Although rainy weather forced the race to be rescheduled, the runners didn’t let the delay dampen their enthusiasm. Their dedication was evident as they crossed the finish line with determination and smiles.

Balko’s representation extended beyond the youth division. Runners from the school community also competed in the quarter and half marathons, each demonstrating the strength and endurance they had developed through weeks of rigorous training.

We’re incredibly proud of all our students and participants. It takes commitment and discipline to prepare for events like these, and our kids rose to the challenge.
